<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been watching the show on Showtime (I&#8217;ve been watching the DVD) called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_tudors" target="_blank">The Tudors</a>.  Yes, it&#8217;s a bit on the racy side, but I&#8217;m finding the historical elements of it far more fascinating.  While I always knew that the Anglican Church came out of the events of Henry VIII&#8217;s . . . wife-changing, it was never so obvious to me how intertwined religion was with the whole thing.  I&#8217;m at the end of season two right now, and Anne Boleyn&#8217;s about to lose her head.  As I watch, it makes me realize how thankful I am that I live in a country where I am free to practice my faith without fear of death!  There are so many places still today where people do not have this right.  That is what I am thankful for this week.</p>
