I recently read a post at Think Christian that really made me think about Twitter in a new way. We are told to “pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), but with the hectic lives we lead, it’s so easy for time to get away from us. I lose hours at a time just by doing homework, reading blogs, responding to emails . . . and reading tweets on Twitter!
The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship has set up some prayer Twitter feeds! These are prayers that are auto-Twittered on the hour so that you are reminded to pray. They’re short, sweet, simple prayers (think Prayers of the People), but it’s a way to use our technology to “pray continually.”
Do you know of any other interesting ways that technology can be used to further our walk?
